Tasting Notes
Proper Job is an authentic IPA brewed with Cornish spring water and malt made from a blend of malts including Cornish grown Maris Otter barley. A powerfully hopped golden bitter that explodes with citrus grapefruit flavours.
Bass
Bass is the most famous English ale in the world, and has been brewed in Burton, England since 1777.
Tasting Notes
It’s hard to separate a classic cask conditioned ale from a pub and it should be no surprise that Bass is the perfect foil for many of the staples of a pub menu. Think fish and chips, steak and ale pie, a ploughman’s board, shepherd’s pie, or Sunday roast
Hophead

Hophead at 3.8% is one of our most popular beers and has a huge following across the south coast and I am sure even much further.
Tasting Notes
Hophead is a pale golden colour, cool crisp and refreshing with a slight hoppy bitterness. Many of our customers who drink it say that they seem to get drunk drinking this as opposed to drinking some of the stronger beers. That's because it's too 'moreish' and they always end up drinking more than they realise!
From time to time, in addition to Hophead, we will also be serving other Ales from Dark Star's excellent range.
