Yesterday evening we hosted a MAD MARCH PUB QUIZ in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone that supported our Mad March Pub Quiz and helped us to raise so much money for a fantastic charity.
We raised a total of £432 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice!
Special thanks to The Pet Pantry & Ebikes-centre.co.uk for donating prizes to the raffle and helping us to raise such a fantastic amount of money.
Brain Field has started a very popular cribbage tournament at The Seal, in which part of the entry money into the tournament is donated to charity. The members of the last tournament kindly donated the charity money to St Wilfrid’s Hospice. The cribbage team have now started their 3rd tournament and plan to expand to 32 players for the next tournament – please speak to a member of bar staff for more information.
Coming in joint first place last night we had ‘Out Of Tune’ and ‘Grassy Knoll’, closely followed by ‘The Jones’ and ‘Dancing On Ice’. All teams were very generous and donated their prize money back to the charity. A very enjoyable evening had by all, with an impressive 19 teams taking part this month.
