We’re incredibly excited to be celebrating Sussex Day at The Seal with a full programme of entertainment, great food, fundraising and community spirit across a fantastic weekend of events.
From quizzes and cabaret evenings to live music and fundraising, there is something for everyone as we come together to celebrate Sussex, local talent and our wonderful community.
Kick-Start the Celebrations with our Coggies Quiz
To begin the Sussex Day celebrations, join us for our Coggies Quiz Night on Thursday 11th June. Gather your team, put your knowledge to the test and enjoy a fun-filled evening with friends and family.
Entry is £2 per person, with £1 from every entry being donated to Dementia UK, helping support an incredibly important cause while enjoying a fantastic evening.
Sussex Day Cabaret & Dinner with Cloud Nine
Continue the celebrations with a delicious two-course meal and cabaret show with Cloud Nine on Saturday 13th June from 6:30pm.
This promises to be a brilliant evening of fantastic food, live entertainment and plenty of fun in a lively atmosphere. Whether you’re joining us for dinner, drinks or simply to enjoy the entertainment, it’s the perfect way to celebrate Sussex Day with friends and family.

An Afternoon of Live Entertainment
There will also be live entertainment at The Seal on Saturday 13th June from 4pm.
The afternoon will begin with performances from the fantastic Selsey Shantymen followed by The Selsey Molls. There will then be a Mega Meat Raffle.
Sussex Day Raffle & Auction – Supporting Selsey Lions
As part of the celebrations, we’ll also be hosting a Sussex Day Raffle & Auction from 6pm on Tuesday 16th June with all proceeds going to Selsey Lions.
We already have some fantastic prizes lined up, including:
- Dinner for 2 at Crab & Lobster
- Voucher from New Magna
- Beautiful bouquet from Village Flowers
- Drinks hampers and cases of beer from Molson Coors
- Round of golf for two at Selsey Golf Club
And there are still more prizes to be announced.
Celebrate Sussex Day with Us
