About this real ale
The name Wight Squirrel was inspired not only by the Isle of White's red squirrels but also after Nigel’s grandfather, Cyril, whose nickname was Squirrel.
Tasting Notes
Wight Squirrel was born and brewed for the first time in February 2014. It’s brewed with a host of crystal malts giving a smooth caramel taste, and hopped with Boadicea, hand-picked from Ventnor Botanic Garden here on the Isle of Wight.
